The report for the college Class of 2020 provides information about where graduates at the undergraduate and graduate levels land within six months of graduation.
New graduate outcomes include various types of employment (full or part time, contract, temporary), additional education, entrance into the military or other service, still seeking—either employment or further education—and not seeking employment/education.
The report also provides starting salary data for those employed full time.
For the first time in the history of the report, outcomes data—including employment, salary, and additional education—are available by gender and by race/ethnicity. The results are available in the report and dashboard.
Overall, we received responses from 342 schools/career centers detailing results for their 2019 graduates in four degree programs—337 schools reported outcomes for the bachelor’s degree; 156 schools provided information for those completing a master’s degree program; 100 institutions reported results for doctoral degree recipients; and 56 schools reported data for their associate degree completers.
In total, the graduating classes of these reporting institutions represent nearly 757,000 graduates—563,000 at the bachelor’s degree level; 150,000 at the master’s level; 24,000 at the doctoral level; and 20,000 at the associate level.
