      In this two-day program, join Michaeline Shuman, Assistant Provost for Post-Graduate Outcomes & Director of Career Development, Susquehanna University, as you learn effective coaching techniques to use with both groups and individuals, learn how to select and apply the technique best suited for your client, and gain insight into the latest trends and tactics in career coaching. Appropriate for practitioners at all levels, Career Coaching Intensive will empower you to empower your students in their career development and job search.

      NACE has reserved a block of rooms at the Doubletree by Hilton Hotel Chicago O’Hare Airport – Rosemont, 5460 North River Road, Rosemont, Illinois 60018 for $199 (+taxes) per night. Guests must book their reservations before April 16, 2018 to secure this rate.


      You can receive a full refund less a 5 percent administrative fee if you cancel your registration at least 15 days prior to the beginning of the Career Coaching Intensive Workshop. Your request must be in writing and should be directed to Cancellation requests made less than 15 days prior to the start of the event/program are not refundable. However, a credit equal to the value of the cancelled registration will be issued and will be valid for 12 months from the date of issue.       Michaeline Shuman, Assistant Provost for Post-Graduate Outcomes & Director of Career Development, Susquehanna University

      Michaeline Shuman has nearly two decades of professional experience in higher education, focusing primarily on career and life coaching. Currently she provides campus-wide leadership for the creation of intentional pathways to postgraduate success through collaboration with faculty, staff, alumni, employers, and other stakeholders. She teaches in the Sigmund Weis School of Business and for the Cross-Cultural program while also supervising the faculty coordinator for fellowship advising and the Career Development team. In the middle of her career she served as a Peace Corps Volunteer and then managed a non-profit health center where she coached and mentored college and graduate school interns.

      Continuing Education Clock Hours:

      BCC – 7.5 clock hours
      ICF – 12 clock hours


      Knowledge Assessment:Upon successful completion and participation in the NACE Career Coaching Intensive, named registrants who wish to receive a certificate of completion will be provided instructions to complete the online NACE CCI Knowledge Assessment. The assessment consists of 25 multiple-choice and true/false questions.

      Attendees scoring an 88 percent or better on the assessment will receive the NACE CCI Certificate of Completion. Successful completion of the workshop and obtaining the certificate of completion can be used in part (7.5 hours) to meet the training requirements for the Board Certified Coach credential offered through the Center for Credentialing and Education.
