    The 2016 Recruiting Benchmarks Survey, based on responses from 233 organizations nationwide that hire new college graduates, extensively explores key aspects of college recruiting. The report provides key benchmarks on how efforts are organized, staffed, focused and executed, as well as outcome-oriented benchmarks and metrics. It also provides insight into trends by comparing current results to past surveys. The survey was conducted from May 24, 2016, to August 31, 2016, among NACE employer members.

    Key findings include:

    • Branding continues to be the most important part of university recruiting programs.
    • Nearly 70 percent of respondents reported using social media in their college recruiting efforts, with LinkedIn being the most popular platform.
    • The use of video interviewing has increased more than 23 percent, with 55 percent of employers using video interviewing in 2016.
    • The majority of respondents said the time from interview to offer takes approximately two weeks.
    • 56 percent of respondents reported having a formal diversity recruiting effort.
