    What can your career services office do to increase career planning initiatives for student-athletes? How are the needs of student-athletes unique regarding career planning?

    The Ohio State University has spent years fine-tuning a comprehensive four-year career plan for student-athletes. During the plan development, the Student-Athlete Support Services Office (SASSO) has gained valuable insights into supports needed by this unique population.

    Join program managers, Brittany Savko and LaToya Farris, as they dissect the student-athlete experience. Gain an understanding about The Ohio State University’s student-athlete programming and newly enacted developments and how these have helped support staff increase engagement.

    Following this program, you will be able to:

    • Understand the student-athlete experience;
    • Enhance student-athlete specific programming and outreach; and
    • Identify methods to engage with athletic department staff and student-athletes.
