Explore where we were, where we are, and where we are going. Better yet, examine opportunities for just-in-time learning and areas for contributing your expertise and talent to propel and leverage others like you in the profession.

Originated by the 2015-16 “Intro to the Profession” Tiger Team, with the support and deliberation of the NACE Board of Directors, this webinar was created for new, existing, and future members to share opportunities to advance and leverage your experience through an exploration of topics most relevant to you: history of the profession and the role of your professional association, the value of professional networking, and pathways to leadership through a wide array of engagement opportunities.

Following this program, you will be able to:

  • Review the history, timeline, and foundation of the profession;
  • Examine milestones leading to the evolution of your association;
  • Review the mission, strategic plan, and vision of your professional association;
  • Explore opportunities for learning and development from members like you;
  • Identify opportunities to advance the profession, serve within your association, and leverage your NACE member experience; and
  • Use available resources to expand your professional acumen.
