  • Summary

Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) are a source of accomplishment and pride for the Black community and higher education. They are also a key source of high-quality, diverse talent for employers.

One of our most impactful and popular events, NACE’s HBCU Summit brings together leaders from HBCUs, talent acquisition, to share employer relations and recruiting strategies and insights that lead to robust, sustainable, and scalable partnerships among HBCUs and employer organizations committed to diversity. This event reveals practices that establish networks to benefit employers, HBCU career centers, and the students they serve.

NACE’s 3rd Annual HBCU Summit will unveil new research on HBCU early talent recruitment and engagement. NACE has spent the last year collaborating with the Center for the Study of HBCUs at Virginia Union University to investigate approaches to HBCU talent engagement for internship and early career opportunities. The results of this distinctive yearlong research project will provide insights, implications, and informed suggestions for the future of HBCU talent engagement—and will be shared during NACE’s HBCU Summit.
